I've gotten several over the years........mostly, Julia Stiles.
Some Reese, too. Definitely a chin thing.
And, if you ask my BFF from college, Doogie Howser is the winner. She still - to this day - dies laughing each time she sees a picture of him.
While in Cabo a few years ago, her husband stopped me mid-sentence and proclaimed, "Oh my God. I just saw Doogie. It's true." Fantastic.
Obviously, I'm compared to people with fair complexions and strong jaw lines.
After showing this to Blake, he said, "And, uh, you forgot one thing." Then, he thumped me on the forehead.
My biggest claim to fame? While in Aspen 13 years ago, someone thought I was Nicole Kidman. I tell you no lies, people. It's true. That was also at my skinniest....the glory days.

People always say I look like anybody and everybody that has curly hair. People say, "Don't I know you from somewhere?" I have to always say no it's just that you probably know someone with curly hair. I get it all the time!!! It's weird. I wish someone would say I look like someone famous.
I used to always get that girl on Northern Exposure when it was on, way back when... on every flight someone would tell me that.
Now I get Jessica Simpson (SAY WHAT???) - don't get that AT ALL! I also get Reese once in a blue moon - don't see that at all either.

I can see the similarities in and you should be flattered except for the Doggie one :).
Many people have told me I have a smile like the Joker. I can see it, kind of, but I hate it.
I don't see it AT ALL, but I've been told I looked and sounded like Bernadette Peters and told I look like Elizabeth Perkins. I think it's the chin thing with Elizabeth Perkins, but other than that I just don't see it.
I'm don't think being told you sound like Bernadette Peters is a good thing by the way.
Random people tell me I look like someone they know. Not anyone famous but just someone familiar. It's weird!
I can definitely see Julia and Reese together. Neither one by them self though. I think they are both pretty so it should be a compliment. I don't see Doogie Houser.

I have been told I look like Katie Holmes and Martina McBride my whole adult life....could be worse, right? I will just giggle at Doogie and not actually comment because I love you so much!
And in preparation for Coco, I would like to go on record that I don't think she looks like Maggie Gyllenhall (or however you spell it).
In the 70s people told me I looked like Natalie Wood. That was a long time ago. Then about 15 years ago, I was told that I looked like Mariah Carey by two different people just days apart. I was about 50 pounds thinner and oh way younger than I am now.
Several years ago, I used to get Katie Couric a lot. I never understood that at all.
I also used to get Jennifer Aniston a lot. I think it was the hair color and style. Since I darkened my hair, I don't get it anymore.
I can see you in Reese and Julia both. Doogie??? For real??? Now, that's funny.

The other day at the perfume counter this dumb lady wouldn't shut her yap. "Doesn't she look like Charlie Sheen's first wife?" Then she asked my mom, "Who was Charlie Sheen's first wife? She looks just like her!" (My mom of course has no idea who the hell that is) Then she starts pestering me. I finally said, "DENISE RICHARDS. SHE'S A SLUT, LEAVE ME ALONE." And she did.

I used to get Jennifer Love Hewitt a lot when I was younger. But then in my early twenties when Dark Angel was on tv I got Jessica Alba all the time.
i have no idea how i kept that snorted laugh in when i saw the pic of doogie, but i did it. brandon is trying to sleep and i'm bored so i got online. but that is HA-LARIOUS!!! i had a drunk guy tell me i looked like sandra bullock, but it was also dark and like i said, he was drunk. (of course i'd LOVE to look like her!!! but don't think i do) i've been told by several people that i look like the chick in that football movie starting keano reeves???? yeah, don't know her either. and forgive any misspellings. can't see as i type either. need to just go to bed now.
I also think doppleganger is a wacko word. I can't say that I have a look alike. Back in college and Melrose Place was what everyone watched, I sometimes got that I looked like Sydney. Who wouldn't mind that kind of comparison?

Honestly, you ripped this one from Facebook...but I love it. In college I was told I looked like Courtney Love. Not the retouched, post-plastic surgery but the roots-showing, trashtastic, Hole lead singer, Courtney Love.
Oh, and at the post office the other day, a lady looked VERY excited to see me. Then, she said, "Oh, I thought you were somebody else. Does anybody ever tell you, you look like "insert name here"...she's on the local news.
