Palm Springs - Day 2

We woke around 8:30am to music blaring by the pool.  Kids loved it!  Caroline and I could have managed without it.

Nothing wrong with starting the day at the lazy river!

Back in the room for some dry clothes and prep for dinner.

I try never to go anywhere without 5 kitties staring at me.

We drove for a bit looking at the adorable Palm Springs houses.  Old school and beautifully maintained.  Littles napped a bit. It was glorious.

In the Movie Colony housing area, we saw Frank Sinatra's house and learned that back in the day, a Jack Daniel's flag was raised signifying cocktails were being served.

So awesome.

The Marilyn statue is here for just a few more months.  Then off to Paris!

Palm Canyon Drive is where it's all happening.  Downtown Palm Springs.

We ate at Hamburger Mary's that evening.  Such good food.

Kitties got massages prior to our food arriving.

The check comes in a red heal!

Upon uploading pics, I found about 30 pics of stuffed cats.  Here is one.

Totally recommend this restaurant when in Palm Springs.

More house tours on the way home.

We ran into this little gem.

Kids went nuts.

Kenny Irwin is the artist.  Info on him HERE.

Caroline and I bought lots of real estate (in our heads) that day.

Everything in Palm Springs is adorable.  Most of the architecture and signing is consistent and retro.

We arrived back to the hotel to watch Rise of the Guardians in the pool.  Can life get better?

Day 2 was awesome.  Love Palm Springs!

Love! One of my trips to PS was with Alicia and freakishly it poured rain most of the time. We got a map of the stars homes and drove around all day. Hoping your next post is about the tram??
