I love exploring new places, and since a boat is how I get there, I can be sure those places will be beautiful seaports or islands. I find it very exciting, freeing, and relaxing. The only drawback is not being close to my family. I only see them a couple of times per year. I make those visits as long and as full of quality time as possible.Jeannette Pucellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14139400616246407839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31273001.post-36443921716557942792009-04-29T22:45:00.000-05:002009-04-29T22:45:00.000-05:00I have been pretty stationary most of my life. Frank and I talk about places we would like to live, but it just doesn't look like anything will happen for a very long time if it does at all. Frank has been at his job for 12 years and doesn't see himself leaving for a long time. He is already talking about how he would like to become the CIO eventually.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10676725373723326503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31273001.post-67426856672906916172009-04-27T23:43:00.000-05:002009-04-27T23:43:00.000-05:00I moved around a lot as a kid. I knew when we left Texas that where we ended up, we'd stay and I'd stay in this old house of ours forever if we weren't already busting at the seams! We talk often about moving to Florida, but now that my brother has relocated to Raleigh, I see us staying put here, just wishing my parents would follow suit!Amyhttp://www.aneedham.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31273001.post-79720176276218790942009-04-27T14:44:00.000-05:002009-04-27T14:44:00.000-05:00Hell, yes! I'm liking the comfort factor of being back in Kansas since it's a much more laid back life and closer to family BUT I think when you limit yourself geographically, you limit yourself to opportunities that might come your way. I never imagine staying in one place for more than 5 or 6 years. We're already planning on re-evaluating in 4 years (when Payton graduates high school) to see if we want to change locations.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18139387902670864917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31273001.post-55978403411866450682009-04-27T14:24:00.000-05:002009-04-27T14:24:00.000-05:00I think the idea of relocating sounds fun and exci...I think the idea of relocating sounds fun and exciting but I'm too much of a mama's girl to move. We have decided that when the kids are grown, we're moving to Mexico and opening a bar on a beach somewhere. I'll wear a bathing suit and flip flops every day. Sounds fun, huh!
