We are about to leave for the airport to pick up our reinforcement set of childcare (Britney and Trysten). Nothing like asking a 35 week pregnant sister to come help!
Hopefully she'll survive the trip without giving birth, lend a hand to Pa and have some fun, too.
Dinner tonight....hanging out at home.....pool trip in the late morning....then off to the airport again to meet Pa, hand off the kids and board our own plane to sunny Puerto Rico. We can't wait!!!!!
Thanks to all who are helping make this trip happen.....we are grateful!

Truth In Advertising
2,729 Miles
The distance between Denver, CO and Puerto Rico!
Vacation always sounds so good, but thinking about being that far away from the kids always makes it difficult.
Found this info on this site. Pretty cool stuff there.

Pa and Jack
Potatoes
I tried a new recipe from The Pioneer Woman Cooks recently and although mine didn't turn out as pretty as hers, they sure were good. Blake suggested adding garlic next time and I simply can't deny him that. Garlic goes well on everything in my opinion.

Here is the link to her recipe. Again, much prettier. Everything this woman does is beautiful.
We ate it with steak and asparagus, a favorite meal in this house and one we don't have very often.
