Christmas and New Year Wrap up 2014

It's been a great year here at the Starnes house!

We entered our 5th year in Southern California and continue to love life near the sea.

Some Christmas details:

Blake and I took the little ones to Disneyland for a final holiday visit. Carter had basketball practice because he made the Varsity Team! So proud of him.

Blake and I joined friends in Orange County for a lovely Christmas party. Sans kids! It was a ton of fun.

Christmas Eve Mass was beautiful, as always.

My favorite photo each year:

Back home for our usual routine.

Reindeer food.

The Night Before Christmas read by Blake, as always.

Christmas morning brought presents for everyone.

We've had a low key break. And, then Blake turned 40!

We're officially old now.

Happy New Year, friends! Lots in store for 2015, including our 15th wedding anniversary.

More to come!

Holidays

We are fully into the holidays.

250 cards are en route!

We enjoyed the Oceanside Harbor Boat Parade this past weekend.

I love our cute little town.

Jack and I went to Disneyland solo last week. Love going with just one kid at a time. Whomever goes with me picks what we ride, what we eat and what we do. Besides a bit of work I always have to get done, I let the kid choose everything.

Loving this one-on-one time.

The fam goes to Disneyland tomorrow! Our last holiday visit.

Also, Carter made the Varsity Basketball team!

Good things ahead.

Lately

Hello, there!

A few things this week:

Caroline bought us matching pjs for Christmas.

Aren't we cute?

Lainey is officially my assistant for my Disneyland job. She has started going with me solo on lots of visits. It's so fun with just one kid.

Isn't she pretty?

Jack is, too, but not so happy in this photo. I joined his class for a field trip to La Jolla. We visited the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. It was awesome.

Out to Disneyland again this week and we're in full holiday mode.

So much to do!
