Express Bath For Two
I bathed the two little ones in the kitchen sink last night in an effort to save time. Surpisingly, they did quite well and there was minimal water to soak up off the floor!
Football Star
Tackle football has officially taken over our lives. 4 qty 2 hour practices a week.
Seriously?
He's 7 years old!
I thought Colorado had a grasp on the situation because flag football went so well last year and no one seemed to lose their mind when it came to practice, uniforms and games. It was laid back and realistic.
Perhaps when you add pads and a helmet, the fathers veer away from reason.
Anyway, from this point on.....per suggestion by Blake.....I will be supportive and without opinions....and I will cheer on our precious boy.
First day of practice....couldn't have been more excited.
And, with little brother. I love how the two of them hold onto each other in pictures. Such sweetness.

Backyard Dinner
Pictures from dinner over the weekend. A lovely, laid back night.
The weather here is not quite ready to change, but we were in the 80's today, which is nice. I prefer not to complain about the heat here because so many others have it much stronger, but I do have to say I was thrilled to hear Blake telling me that he was freezing at football practice tonight! Relief is ahead.
Little ones. Jack inherited the tool bench behind him and loves it as Carter did.
"What? I know what I'm doing. I made it to the top of the stairs inside today!"
"How does this work?"
Boys, enjoying shrimp....one of our favorites.

"I give up."
Sweet baby girl.
We are lucky to be near some great farmer's markets here in our little town. Palizzi's corn on the cob is so good!
