Mega-Scoop And Plans ; Caroline's Visit Recap, Part 2

Holy update, peeps. Get ready.

4th of July at the Starnes casa. We know how to party.

Rain in the forecast. Bummer. And, that's not just rain. That looks like a good old fashion Kansas storm.

Pre-event pics. Love Jack in this one. He's having a great time.

My two Carolines.

The fam.

Baseball outside with the kids. Lainey dusts off her shoes before batting. Naturally.

Fireworks! Or, that was the plan.

Hugs.

Here's Jack blatantly laughing at Lainey. Nice.

Good thing she can laugh at herself.

We left pre-rain and saw some fireworks from other celebrations.

Came home for charades.

Zoo Day.

My pretty sister with the punks.

A "sisters" shot.

Love these guys.

Potty, Jack?

Pizza dinner at Minsky's. Yum.

Concentrate, Carter! It's old school table top Frogger.

Lainey can eat an entire meal with babies in her lap. She's got mad skills.

Fireworks, take 2.

Caroline and I mod podged the kitty print from Weston. I love him. LOVE.

Time to say goodbye to Cawowine. Not an easy task for this group.

Caroline let Lainey keep Jo Jo the kitty until California. I'm not going to be present when she asks for her back.

This one makes me tear up.

And, we're off to La Jolla in the morning! I will try to post each day as we did last year. Easier for my little brain to do, rather than trying to remember upon returning.

Don't even think of trying to break in our house, if you were able to figure out where we live.

A. There's not much here you'd want.
B. We have people staying here and they are wicked strong.
C. Batman will be on full attack.

Off to pack! Later, bloggies.

Gum Products Giveaway - If You're Anything Like Us, You Need This

We once let our kids go 2 days without brushing their teeth.

Well, let me rephrase that. I hid the kids' toothbrushes for 2 days to see if Blake noticed. He didn't.

With that said, I do believe we could benefit from my first (!!!!) giveaway. But, I won't cheat and enter.

The goods to giveaway.....a year's supply of dental products. Nice, huh?

Depending on your household and those who occupy it, the Missouri Dental Association will send you the appropriate gear.

Stuff you should know (Blake, read this part):

Dental cavities are the most common disease of kids ages 5 to 17, they are also 100% preventable.

By simply wearing a mouth guard during sports activities, kids can prevent painful and costly oral injuries.

Parents aren’t exempt from taking their oral health seriously either. Tooth decay and oral cancer are growing problems among adults.

Studies have indicated that there may be a link between gum disease and heart disease.

How to enter?

1. Leave me a comment.

2. "Follow" me or tell me you do already in another comment.

See? It's that easy, folks! Now, get off the computer and go brush your teeth.

Giveaway ends at the stroke of midnight, Sunday, July 18.
