The Plane Ride

It went so well! We love Frontier Airlines because of the TV's on each seat. Money well spent!

The boys were great. I was nervous because I was without Blake, but we made it!

"Not now, Mom!"

Caroline And Ceason

I won't even attempt to write about leaving my sisters. It's simply too hard. So, instead, I'll just post a few pics. I miss you already! Well, Caroline, I'll see you tomorrow, but I still miss you and hope you'll come soon, too, Ceason!

Goodbye To Our Darling House

4 years and tons of memories behind us, Blake and I sold and left the first house we bought together. We built this one, so it was a labor of love and something we will never forget. Saving and sacrificing for months got us into it and upon leaving, we thought back to all of that. It seemed like forever ago.

It's funny....you put your house on the market and pray to God someone loves it as much as you and is willing to buy it. You show the house and light candles, have the blinds perfectly drawn, play music, etc.....and hope and hope it sells. Then, it does sell and you're left heartbroken because someone else is now living in YOUR house! Oh, well. Life moves fast and we move with it. We're grateful that our house sold and in the short amount of time it took. A few photos before we left...

Seems so empty.

One more walk through before we leave. Forgot something!!! Jack was napping in his room while we cleaned.

A Night At The Airport

While Blake drove overnight to our new home, the boys and I stayed in a hotel at the DFW airport. Carter could not have been happier about this. He LOVES hotels and he LOVES airports. What could be better?

He sat like this forever, watching the planes take off and land.

More plane watching!

Caroline and Ceason came out to visit and eat pizza (and watch more planes!).

Carter feeding Jack.

And, We're Back!

Back to civilization, that is. No computer/phone/cable for a week is not easy!!! But, we're here again and I'll try to catch everyone up. So far, WE LOVE CASTLE ROCK! Our neighborhood could not have turned out better. Day one, 4 boys were at our house playing and riding bikes with Carter. Turns out that 2 of them are in Kindergarten at his school and one is in his class! Carter is in heaven....our old neighborhood was wonderful, but filled with girls and all younger than Carter. So, he's in his element now. We're loving it!

Now, let's catch up....
