Caroline Is Here!!!!!!!

Caroline arrived today and we're so excited!

We spend most afternoons outside watching the kids play. This neighborhood has some great kids (parents, too!). We're very lucky.

Caroline holding baby Jack.

First try in the grass. Carter did NOT like it when he tried it out at 6 months or so. Jack tried to eat it.

Happy Jack. He's the spitting image of Uncle Cody as a baby here.

In the "flying saucer" outside. He loves to watch the boys play.

"Hi, Caroline!"

Baby Boy, Ready To Hike

A few more pictures from our visit with Pa. The first two are from lunch at Winterpark and the last is before dinner in downtown Castle Rock. And, just before the comments start coming in.....yes, those hiking boots are necessary....he may just get up and feel the need to hike up that mountain one day.

Pa In Colorado!

Pa had a business trip in Copper Mountain last week, so he extended his stay to come see us. We took a trip into the mountains on Saturday. Went up to Winter Park. Carter was dying for a snowball fight.

There is no real way to describe the beauty of Colorado. A day has not gone by that Blake and I don't say, "I can't believe we live here." We've skied several times in the years past and have always loved the mountains, but those visits were always short and then we'd head back home. Now, this is our home and we couldn't be happier about it.

At our first stop.

The Continental Divide.

The trail leading to the divide. Several snowboards and skiers (much more serious than us) headed up this mountain on foot to turn around and go back down it. Crazy!

Pa and Jack.

4 Starnes boys.

Carter could barely contain himself with all the snow!

Cutie Blake. He didn't know I took this one!

One more of the fam.

Another First Day Of Kindergarten And Getting On The Bus!

Carter's new school is great. He's fitting right in and with Paeton in his class, things couldn't be going better.

First day.

Dad and Carter before his first bus ride.

And, he's off. Barely took the time to turn around and wave to his parents. No surprise there. Carter was born ready....for anything and everything in life.

Finally Here

Just a couple from the move in. We camped out the first night in our house because our furniture didn't arrive until the next day. It was actually a lot of fun. We had an awesome turn around for the move, too. They drove out from our house in Keller at noon on Monday and we had our stuff before noon on Wednesday. Less than 48 hours! We were not expecting it all until Sunday! So happy about that.

Carter sitting and watching the movers bring everything in. Or, more importantly, waiting for them to find his bike so he could ride with the other boys.
