New Years Wishes

2006 was a wonderful year for our little family. We added sweet Baby Jack to the group, now 8 months old and couldn't be more precious. Carter started Kindergarten and although he is not happy about leaving Christmas break to go back to school tomorrow, he's doing well. And, Blake brought us all here to this beautiful state of Colorado where we are so happy and excited for more adventures ahead. We are blessed!

We hope that 2007 brings good things to you all as well.

Happy 2007!!!

Our New Year's Eve was spent inside safe at home. Blake and I tend to go to extremes for this holiday...it's either 100% exciting with a trip out of town or we go in the opposite direction and stay in with the kids. Either way, we're content.

Carter and I were in bed by 8:00pm watching movies. He brought to bed a container of fudge and said to me, "I got these just in case this party gets EVEN better!" That's my boy.

Jack turned in a few minutes earlier and actually past his bedtime.....at about 7:30. Here are Dad and Jack at our New Year's Rockin' Eve night.

Visit With The Hollingshead Family

Ryan, Belinda, AnnMarie and Noah came over on Blake's birthday for dinner and drinks. We had a fun night to say the least! And, Happy Birthday to Blake. 32 is going to be a good year.

Playstation Time

Caroline and Carter spent much of her time here playing Lego Star Wars II, his favorite Playstation game. It was hard at times to tell who was more into it. I don't think either of them even knew I was taking pictures.

Snowy Day With Caroline

Several photos from a day with Caroline out in the snow. The timing of her trip, though delayed and adjusted from original plans, ended up working out perfectly.

She got to stay an entire week - arrived in time for Christmas Eve, was here for Blake's birthday, saw a ton of snow drop in about 24 hours, etc....and then landed back in Dallas in time to spend New Year's Eve with her boyfriend Ryan. It was hard to see her go...most of the car load was in tears...but she will be back soon.

Blake working on the drive way again! After the 3 feet that fell last week, we got another foot or so.

Wipeout!!!!

Carter's hair is actually frozen here. This kid is so tough...never wants to come in.

Snow drenched Colorado.

Caroline and I walked to the mailbox and she was amazed at the snowed in cars. Such a different life from Texas.

Blake is there somewhere still working on the drive way.
