Sweet Baby Boy

As mentioned before, Jack is the sweetest boy in the morning. He now refuses to sleep on his back or side....which makes his mother very nervous....however, besides holding him down each night to sleep, I'm not sure what we can do about it at this point. Here he is just waking up.

Picture Day!

Carter had his first picture day today at school. He was so excited to be able to wear jeans....his all time favorite. If we were to allow Carter to dress himself each morning, he would be wearing jeans, a sweatshirt, and snow boots...even mid-summer. Guess he'll be happy in Colorado!

Here is the sweet Kindergartener before school this morning.

Grandad and Ceason in New York

So far, I've posted only our own photos on the blog, but thought these were too good to keep to myself. My dad and my sister, Ceason, went to New York over the weekend to see a Yankees game before the stadium is torn down. They had a good time, despite a day of rain and their original game cancelled. Luckily, they found tickets for the next night - although the game was sold out. Here they are....

Goodbye To The Rands

In a week, we'll be on our way to Colorado and our tearful good-byes will be over. Tonight was one of the hardest! The Rands, as mentioned in an earlier post, are some of our oldest and dearest "friends with kids".

We all lived in Austin together at one point...we got married a week before Bryan and Alisha did....we started our families close together....Carter and Haylee began Kindergarten at the same time, etc. They are a family that we love and respect and we will miss them a ton!

From our last dinner at Chuck E Cheese's....

Jack, Casey, Alisha and sweet Gracie.

Grace playing a video game.

Carter with a handfull of tickets...some possibly stolen. Alisha and I watched in amazement as both Carter and Haylee produced tokens and tickets after all of theirs were used or spent. They're certainly resourceful!

Hands down, one of the best moms I know. Here is Alisha holding our baby Jack.

The happy couple.... Doesn't this look like a "party pic" from college?! Perhaps we'll see one like this one day from UT (or better yet, when Haylee visits Carter at LSU!).

A Few From The Weekend

Just a few pictures of the boys....

Here is Carter so proud of his purchase at the McKinney Trade Days on Saturday. He spent his allowance and the money Ceason left him for taking care of her cat while she was in New York.

Grandmudder treated the boys to a stuffed animal each at "Build a Bear" on Saturday. Now, they can take those animals to Colorado and think of her when they play with them. Carter already loves his and carries it around the house. Naturally, Jack has covered his with drool.

Jack wants to sit up! Here he is trying to do so with Carter's help.
