I'm in a slump.
Still reading about a book a week, but I haven't read much lately that I loved.
Currently reading The Invisible Thread. It's good. But, I'll be done with it soon and on to the next.
What am I missing?
I need some suggestions!

Have you read Sharp Objects and Dark Places by Gillian Flynn?
Read both. I actually read Sharp Objects years ago. Gone Girl recently. Both good! Need to check out her other one. Thanks!
I have one called Swamplandia that is supposed to be really good but I haven't read it yet. Not sure who wrote it but there can't be many called Swamplandia. Just read one for my bookclub called Still Missing by Chevy Stevens. It's pretty good, if you liked Room you'll like it.
The Bible.
Have you read Wednesday Wars or Okay for Now by Gary Schmidt yet? I cannot rave enough about them!! LOVED them both. I also HIGHLY recommend those John Groberg books I was talking about earlier. Other goodies lately have been: Goodnight Mr. Tom, Girl of the Limberlost, Heaven is Here (Nie's book).
Room by Emma Donoghue was my favorite book of ALL the books I read last year. It was dark, twisty, and a little disturbing but such a great read.
I'm reading Roses by Leila Meacham. Set in East Texas in the early 1900's. Loving it so far.
Also read Defending Jacob by William Landay and it was good.
