On our last day of the trip, we woke in Key West at 4am and started driving north. I wanted to visit Celebration Town, Florida, which is a master planned community originally designed and created by Disney. Meaning, you can live in a town made my Disney. Fascinating to me.
It's just as cute as you are imagining.
Surprisingly, just a few houses are decked out in mouse ears and such. Most of the houses look like a regular neighborhood home. But, the grounds are beautifully manicured and everything is adorable.
After a drive through Celebration, we headed to Downtown Disney at Disney World. I'm not a huge fan of our own DTD here at Disneyland, as it's all retail focused and mostly just shopping and eating. But, it was certainly something I wanted to see at WDW.
We did a little shopping and then it was time to go. :(
And, the great thing about living in San Diego? Kind of feels like vacation every day. So, we're doing just fine back in the swing of things.
In fact, we've taken a couple of road trips since arriving back. More pics coming!
School starts in 2 weeks. Carter will register this week and then the littles, the following. We're entering our 5th year in SoCal schools and I couldn't be more pleased. Good things ahead.
PS - We'll be back at Disneyland in 20 days. Yay!
And, if you don't already know it, I manage a Disneyland planning site. Find that HERE.

Wow -- blogging from your iPhone -- I am impressed!!! We visited/stayed in Celebration one year -- lovely place! The condo we were at had a Mickey bedroom and thus began Maddy's love of Mickey! :) Enjoy the end of summer break -- I know you will!
I would have liked to have seen Celbrations. Forgot about that. So cute!
I love all of your vacation adventures! Cute pictures!
