Our Little Mommy

Caroline gave Lainey her first baby doll and stroller for her first birthday. It's an American Girl Bitty Baby and she loves it.

Always on a walk.

Uh oh. Need to work on some skills.

Because she just kept on going.

Still figuring out how the baby sits in the stroller.

Cold Weather Gear

High of 50 degrees today. So very happy about that. I absolutely love the cold weather and was really excited about the forecast for snow today. It changed mid-week.....so none right now....but soon enough.

Lainey is sporting a new pair of boots today. Have I mentioned lately how fun it is to dress up my little doll....I mean, daughter?

Glenwood Springs Pool

More pictures from our trip a few weeks ago. Here we are at the Hot Springs Pool. Pretty amazing. The main pool is kept just above 90 degrees and the therapy pool is 104. Steam rises above the water most of the year and it's really cool to see.

Carter jumps right in the second we get there.

Jack gives it a try. You can kind of see the steam here and more so if you click on the picture.

Lainey isn't quite sure about it.

Never shy Carter claims a lap lane and starts swimming. Not a kid in sight....all adults swimming....and our little fish, too.

Cannonball!!!!

The therapy pool is pictured here in the distance, adjacent to the big one. You really have to save this for last because after feeling the temperature there, the main pool feels very cold.

Our drive out of Glenwood and into Aspen.

Award!

Courtney from Coco's Cuckoo Life made my day today with this blogger award. Thanks, Court! As she wrote on her post, we've developed a close friendship over the past couple of months. You just never know where you will meet people! The strangest part of the equation is that once we got to know each other, we realized that she knows my best friend from LSU, Amelia. And, we had no prior knowledge of this. What a small world we live in.

So, to pass it on.....since Shannon refuses to play the game, I will have no expecations in regards to her forwarding it. But, I do so love her blog.

I'd like to send it to Britney, too. She's come a long way with her posting and seeing her pictures and hearing news about her family is always fun.

And, finally, Little O' Me keeps me laughing. Her candid nature is a reminder to me to keep things honest and real!

Enjoy, ladies and be sure to pass on the fun.

Fall Favorites

#4 - Kids in Halloween gear. Nothing too extravagent.....most of ours are purchased at Target or Children's Place.

New goofy smile.

Oh, and the bow? I know she looks like a rooster. Don't care!
