We met Belinda and kids for dinner recently and took a quick picture of the group. We love them all so much. Will miss them when we're in KC!

Eight

Best thing about turning 8 years old?

No more booster seat. According to Carter. He's been such a good sport about it and we have not wavered....and finally, he's carseat-free!

And, now, we battle the discussion of why his friends sit in the front seat and not him. In his usual sarcastic way (not sure where he gets it), he asked if he could sit in the front seat before he goes away to college.

Maybe!

Calendar In Full Swing

They have been up for over 24 hours and Jack hasn't ripped them down yet. He's coloring Lainey's instead of his, but they're still attached to the fridge which is more than we can say for last year!

He's going after the train here that is a week out. Just can't wait.
