How Is Summer Treating Ya?

In 40 days, our youngest will start Pre-K, our middle will start Kindergarten and our oldest will rule the school as a 5th grader.

Summer is going by quickly!

And, it's been a fabulous one.

Lots more to do, though, as you can see in the picture above.

How about you?

*****What's left for you?

******What do you wish you could be doing?

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.

I love that quote.... Last summer Hann and I made a summer to do list. And then we ended up doing hardly any of it because we got busy doing other crazy things we forgot to write down.
I don't know why summer, more so than any other season, seems to fly by. Please slow down.
The rest of my summer will be spent trying to pull together a wedding. I think I might be insane for thinking I can actually get married this fall but I am determined to pull this off. I think next week I shall buy a dress.

WOW!! You guys have been busy! We have too.
I almost wanted to make a list like this for Brad and I but it's sorta gay giving we don't have kids.
The one big thing that we need to do this summer is go see my parents in their new town and house!!
Not this next weekend - we are headed to Richmond!

You are doing great on your list! Way To Go!

I am sucking this summer. We haven't done much. The heat is whipping me.

I wish I were at a resort right now. or go anywhere right now.

I also hope I get to visit all my Austin peeps I don't get to see during the school year.

I've never made friendship bracelets, only hemp! I just saw a tutorial on Purl Bee today. After seeing your post, I'm headed to Hobby Lobby!

You know I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oceanside Pier posts. Made me smile to see the balcony in the background where I got engaged. Thanks for making my day!
