Boys' Graduation

I promise you he's a happy kid. He really detests photos, however.

He does like to dress up.  Make sense of that.

The graduation.

Our little guy was so excited.

His Memory Book is awesome.  Compiles all of his hard work throughout the year.

With his fantastic teacher.

Jack graduated on Tuesday, but the last day of school was on Wednesday.

All dressed up.  He wore a tie on the first day of school and a vest on the last.  The kid has style.

His class got to watch the graduation.  All of the Kindergartners stood there, perfectly behaved, watching.  It was pretty impressive.

Carter walked out with his class.

Here he is standing for recognition for being part of the "Green Team"......recycling and conserving for the school.

They sang, "I'm On My Way" by Phil Collins (from the movie, Brother Bear).  I lost it.  Such a sweet song.

The words:

Tell everybody i'm on my way
New friends and new places to see
With blue skies ahead, yes i'm on my way
And theres no where else i'd rather be

Tell everybody i'm on my way
And i'm loving every step i take
With the sun beating down, yes i'm on my way
And i can't keep this smile off my face

Cause theres nothing like, seeing each other again
No matter what the distance between
And the stories we tell, will make you smile
Or really lifts my heart

So tell'em i'm on my way
New friends and new places to see
And to sleep under the stars and could ask for more
With the moon keeping watch over me

Not the snow nor the rain, can change my mind
The sun will come out, wait and see
And the feeling of the wind
In your face can lift your heart

Tell everybody i'm on my way
I just can't wait to be there
With blue skies ahead, yes I'm on my way
And nothing but good times to share

So tell everybody I'm on my way
And I just can't wait to be home
With the sun beating down yes I'm on my way
And nothing but good times to show

I'm on my way
Yes, I'm on my way
I bawled like a baby.

Such a great kid.

With his teacher.

With some friends.  That's his girlfriend in the blue dress.  :)

It was a happy day.

Still more ahead before we can relax.

*Dinner with Kate and family tonight.

*A week of dance recital mayhem.  Thank God Allison is in town to tell me what to do!

*Preschool Graduation.

*Prepare for Millie and family visiting!  My BFF from college.  I can't wait.

Your family is so precious, Casey. Your pictures never fail to make me smile. :)
Tell sweet Jack that Khaki (that is what my nephews and godchildren call me) will send him a King Cake again in 2013!!
I realize that Carter has a girlfriend now, but please save him for Caroline. Think of what beautiful blonde grandchildren we would have. And I know you love the name. :)

Your kids are getting so big and are cuter than ever. I especially like Jack's dapper style.

Big year this fall with all of your kids in school, including 1 in middle school. Deep breaths!

As always your kids pics never fail to make me smile. Jack is so funny...how does such a young guy become such a curmudgeon?

I just want to eat Jack up! I love that kid! And the picture of the two of you is precious. Y'all look so much alike!!
Can't believe you'll have a middle schooler next year. Sweet Carter - growing up so fast. (tear).

Yeah, it looks like so much fun.

Jack is a sweetie. It's perfectly normal to not like your picture taken. It's an introvert thing.

I can't believe your oldest is heading to middle school. Carter seems like such a sweet, well rounded kid. You've done well, Casey.

Happy Summer!
Nicky

I totally love that Carter sports the bow tie in support of Jack. Jack is a total PIMP.
