Pre-Holiday Disneyland Trip

We took a 2 day Disneyland trip recently.

It's all in the name of "work" now.  :)

Blake was at work and Carter was in Los Angeles on a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance.  So, I took the littles on the train north and met up with everyone later in the day.

LOVE riding the train.  Inexpensive and easy.

One of our best purchases - Trunkis.  Luggage kids can ride on.

The ride from San Diego to Orange County is fabulous.

You can watch the surfers on one side.

And, shop for real estate on the other.

We're there!

Arrived to find a $20 bill in the safe.  This had to be a 'pay it forward' because no one would leave a single $20, unlocked and easily found.

So fun!  Now it's our turn.

Jack loved swimming after having his cast on and us not being able to go to the pool.  Kids weren't happy about it, but we ALL sacrificed while Jack couldn't participate in things.  No beach, no swimming, no roller coasters, etc.

So this trip was special in a few ways.

Ready for the parks!

Always shy Lainey.

Carter is handling his allowance beautifully thus far. Treated himself to a decaf Starbucks while at the hotel.

Blizzard Productions had a huge video game conference while we were there.  Lots to see.

On the tram, we spotted a couple of the creepy feral cats that inhabit Disneyland.

They're famous!

The Carthay Circle Carolers sang prior to the California Adventure tree lighting.

Love these punks.

Snow at Disneyland?

So awesome!

Blake, as always, braves the tea cups.  Not my favorite.

It was a fun trip!

Now, we are even more excited about Caroline's arrival and seeing ALL of the Christmas fun at the parks.  Just saw a preview on this visit.

Soon!

When I lived in Vegas we did DL for Thanksgiving one year. It was a total blast! All things Christmas and the snow on Main Street rocked! #jealous

LC is a total MJ model. So cute! I think that is so awesome how you all sacrificed when Jack's arm was broken. Good call. I don't know if I would have thought of that. Big boy Carter with his Starbucks!

So much fun! ps. next time see if you can't get a waterproof cast .. made a huge difference when Tiger had a broken arm in the summer.

Okay that looks like so much fun!! We have never rode the train yet but I have had to wait for it to pass when we have gone to the beach. :)

Great pictures and seriously what a fun trip!

I absolutely LOVE your blog and the pics you post. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us... This sounds so cheesy but seeing your family spend quality time together makes me smile and gives me hope for this crazy insane world. XOXO
