It's December and I've pretty much already lost my mind.
1. First up, the Advent Calendar is ready!
I forget the numbers each year......but it's around 13 years for this family and then 36 for me, as my big brother brought it home from kindergarten around 1977. I've been recreating it for a couple of decades, it seems......I've lost count!
Print it and hang it on your fridge to color each day until Santa arrives.
2. Next, my cards are at the printer. We've got a specific 'theme' this year that I hope translates....more to come!
Pics vetoed from the options:
Liked it, but not the right layout -
My favorite from our professional photos over the summer. Love it, but too perfect -
Closer to looking like us -
I'll post the card once it's done with explanation.
3. Carter is handling his allowance system very well. He's budgeting and saving and checking his account online and handling things beautifully. So proud of him!
4. Finally, the house is decorated, Santa has been seen, tickets are being purchased for our annual Christmas show, gifts are being wrapped and we're in full holiday mode.
I love every bit of it.
Quick recap of Santa, since the photos were posted in my marathon post from Caroline's visit. I don't want them to get lost in the shuffle.
We see Santa at Disneyland each year and it's AMAZING and if you go early enough, there's almost always no wait at all. I take Santa visits seriously and have waited hours before over the years. This often seems too easy......
Such an awesome Santa.
Looks nervous. :)
Our sweet three. Such great kids.
Off to finish up the last 2 steps in my 6 Step Disneyland Trip Planning Kit.
We're getting close!
