My Little Lainey Bug

It's been all "Lainey Lainey Lainey" here recently.  (said in my best Jan Brady voice, of course)

OK by me. 

She's often in the shadow of those loud boys who live in this house.  I like it when the spotlight is on her.

There is something so sweet and dainty about this picture.....not exactly sure what it is.....but I love it.

Jessie joined the girls for their second ballet lesson.  Sadly, it was their last.

Kidding, of course (I think).  The instructor decided it was too much to teach and manage her children together out of her home.  So, we're changing studios.  All in good time.

Did I ever post first-day-of-preschool pictures?  Maybe just a couple.  I don't know.  I honestly am not even sure what the date is today.  My house is empty, so I'm assuming I drove kids to school, but my brain is filled with princess decor, pumpkins, party favors, Cinderella dress alternations, cake pops, photo shoots, snacks, drinks, and more.

Just bear with me for a post or two, k?

Before school on the first day.

She wasted no time getting busy.

I love that kid.

Oh, hell, I love all 3 of them.

But, Lainey deserves my attention right now.  Her party is coming together beautifully.  What started out as a little afternoon get together has emerged into just a tiny bit more than that.

I'm currently looking high and low for a prince costume in Blake's size and a horse rental farm. This way, I can have the husband make his entrance via galloping up the steep hill behind our house, jumping the iron fence and sliding perfectly into place next to our little Cinderella.

I think he'll do it.  Don't you?

I must leave you here and tend to the kitchen.  Somehow, I signed up for bake sale goodies and also white chocolate dipped pretzels for Carter's Narnia party tomorrow.

Next on my list?

Learning to say "No".
