The Starnes Family has broken 2 cameras in the past few weeks, so I'm down to option #3, which is the first edition of my current favorite, Canon SX20IS.
We first bought this camera just before our trip to see my brother, Cody, return from Iraq after his service in the Marines. That was a long time ago. Carter was Jack's age. The screen on this camera is about 1 inch by 1 inch. But, it takes pictures. And, I breath better knowing I have a working camera. If this one breaks, I'm going to be carrying around the first one we ever bought.....it's about the size of our smaller "pocket" camera, but weighs about 34 pounds. Interesting.
Anyway, so when I dug out this camera and uploaded pictures from last evening's picnic at the park, I found some from one of our visits to Oceans of Fun last summer. Some good stuff....
The little ones were sliding fools. Laine is 1.5 years old here!
Such a beauty. Minus the snotty nose, of course.
The curls, people! We should all be so lucky. Notice how much it's grown since then, too.
The park has an awesome kayaking lake.
Carter in action. His first kayaking excursion was in Akumal, Mexico when he was 4. Loved it then, too.
Blake took the little ones out, too.....who paddled away and enjoyed it. I stayed behind to take pics.
Back to the big pool.
Having fun, Laine? Not so much.
This is on one of those massive water playgrounds with the bucket that dumps all over every 5 minutes. I can't stand these things.
Adjustable straps. Wedgie free.
Lovin the wave pool.
Happy kids in the water.
Frank. The. Tank.
Watching big brother on the big boat.
There he goes!
And, that's it for today. I'm off to work soon. Owners are out of town, so I've taken on some more hours.
Which is beneficial and not......the more I work......the more clothes I put on hold. It's hard to pass up! (Even though Coco took most of my held items while in town.)
