Las Vegas

We really need a cousin Eddie.

Maybe Sass could play his part?

Almost here!

We're taking the punks to Vegas.  Lainey can't wait to see her castle.  Jack says he'll only let the baby lions sleep in his bed.  And, Carter is too busy gallivanting around southern California to comment.

4-5 hour drive.

3 nights.  4 days.  At the MGM Grand.

It's gonna be fun.  Not Hangover fun, but fun.

I haven't been since before Jack was born.  Fill me in!

***What is your favorite part of Vegas?  Kid friendly or not.....it doesn't matter.

When Andy and I went alone about 6-ish years ago, it was our first time alone in years.....and we couldn't stop noting kid-friendly things.

M&M Store
Wave pool at Mandalay Bay
Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
Games at Circus Circus
Cirque shows
FAO Schwarz
Blue Man Group
Gondola ride at The Venetian (I hate this but I assume kids would like it)
Magic Shows
Bellagio fountains

Etc.

Plus we were the only ones up at 8 a.m. walking around Vegas. LAME. At least you'll have an excuse since you'll have the kids with you.

Have fun on your trip!

Honestly, I think people that go to Vegas with kids in tow are nuts:) There are so many people to try to walk around and keep everyone together. Also, if you will be pushing a stroller that makes it worse. There are plenty of people that do it, including you, and there are kid friendly things to do. I agree with all the things Shannon said. Definitely take them to Freemont Street to see the light show. And your oldest may be big enough to go zip lining there too. It is only $20-$30 dollars depending on the time of day.

I have never been to Vegas. It's on my bucket list. So when you get back... fill me and tell me everything I have to do someday when I get there.

The first time I went to Vegas I did not leave the MGM casino. I did not even know there was a pool. I blame Diamond Dave and his evil gambling addiction. We did make it to the top of teh Stratosphere once. The rides up there were fun! And I think we went on a roller coaster in NYNY.

Everytime time I order bread pudding Dave says "the bread pudding is extra runny tonight, Clark". And that makes me think of you and yours family in Vegas.

One of my favorite shows was Blue Man Group! If you can take the kids, I think they would enjoy it! It's high energy & entertaining. I love just walking through all the different hotels. There is so much to see & do just by walking around. Also, if your up after dark, the water show at Bellagio is really neat to see! Yes, you can see it during the day, but it is so cool after dark! Sorry I don't have any better ideas for the kids. Hope you guys have fun!!! Haven't been in years ... so much changes quickly there.

Being able to walk around anywhere with adult beverages - awesome!! I like the roller coast in NYNY and the shops on the other end of the strip. Have fun!!

I love Cousin Eddie, and could easily play the part. Though I may switch the crappy beer for wine. Either way.
