Lainey's 4th Birthday Party

It was fantastic!  Many, many pictures.......grab a cup of coffee and relax a bit.

The cake pops turned out to be super yummy and ended up only taking about 10 years off my life.  Totally worth it, right!

I did learn a few things and will change my method next time.  Can't wait to try again!

My favorite part of the party........pixie dust for the girls.

Frog and lava putty for the stinky boys.

Why not do favors for the moms?  They're the ones who made everything happen anyway, right?

Most of the party was spent outside.

Kiddos painted tiaras and crowns.

We cleared the furniture and set up the gazebo for princess pictures.

And, as usual, this is one of my favorites.......the pouty princess.

Allison took most of the photos and did a beautiful job!

You'll notice the difference between our pictures.  Mine are much better than Allison's.

Totally kidding.  I still don't know how to use my fancy camera.

Do princesses typically have dirty feet and bruises on their legs?

We had a bitty cake for Laine since everyone had pops.

College roomie, Mike, and his youngest of 4, Ainsley.

Back for more photos......

Cailyn.  Rylee's little sis and all around perfect child.

Jessalyn.

Ellery, Merrilee's daughter.

With Dane.  These two are simply adorable.

Rylee, Laine's BFF.

Our littlest princess, Ainsley.

There were a few tears.  To be expected.

Allison and me.

Mike picked out a Justin Beiber doll for Lainey.  I will never forgive him for this.

Someone busted out the makeup.

And, when the crowns dried, it was time to go home.

Well, not really.  Several neighbor kids stayed late and the Davidges watched LSU (((((win!!!!!)))).

Ranked #1, baby.

It was an awesome night.  Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us!

I can't remember if party planning is on your list of services but it should be. *I* want a princess party! So lovely and it looks like the princess had great fun! :)

How fun!!!! It looks like everyone had a blast! And I love the pixie dust as party favors. Super cute idea!! I'm assuming you glued the lids shut so it will never be dumped out once it got home. I give you every prop out there for making those cake pops. Never tried it b/c it sounds very challenging. Glad you had a great weekend!!

Love that you took pictures of each girl individually in the precious gazebo. And the crown idea was great!

I just typed a long ass comment and Emma clicked the mouse and POOF! It was gone.

Anyways, what I said was I love the Princess Party idea. I'm trying to plan Emma Kate's 2nd bday party. I don't want anything too fancy but could use some suggestions or ideas assuming that you have any.

I'm totally making cake pops. Did you get your recipe somewhere online? I've made cake balls (same thing except without the stick) so maybe I'll just make those.

I was happy to see you in a total of 2 pictures this time! Good job!
