She made it. On time. With no glitches.
It was nothing short of a miracle.
First time in California!
We headed home......grabbed Lainey after preschool......hung out a the house for a bit......grabbed the boys from school.....and headed to Coronado Island.
They love each other.
And, even if they didn't, we would make them be BFF.
Make them.
They are such a mess together. A beautiful little mess.
Courtney and I relaxed on the sun deck and paid Carter (not kidding) to keep the kids busy on the beach.
Isn't that lovely?
And, by that, I mean the ocean and how far away the children are.
Then, they returned.
My friend (and boss) Melissa brought her son, Josh, for a visit. They live on Coronado. I kind of hate her for that.
We toured the Dr. Seuss Garden and surprisingly didn't break any sculptures.
Court brought Carter this shirt. Loves it.
Got home, threatened the kids with canceling Disneyland if they didn't go to sleep.
It worked.
So, we hung outside until 2am. Slight headache this morning.
Turns out, I'm not the only moron when it comes to the Ipad.
Blake did his best to ignore our antics.
I'm so glad Coco's a weirdo. Makes me look a little closer to normal.
And.........Blake's out. Couldn't take anymore.
Preparing now for our big Disneyland trip. Attending the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
And, the girls are getting princess makeovers at the castle.
The excitement is almost too much.

What CUTE pictures. Lainey looks adorable in those pigtail buns, my goodness gracious. And you're brilliant for facilitating some alone time with Coco while the kids were playing on the beach--that's what keeps adults sane, right? :)
