Coco's In Town. Part 2. (If you don't like princess stuff, keep a wastebasket handy for emergency vomitting)

It was the big event of their visit to California.

The "Bittikiti Bittikiti Bitok", as Lainey called it.

Pre-makeover for Laine.

Please note:  Jack CHOSE his costume as a prince this year.  Or a knight.   Carter had a knight costume from years ago and Jack's always been drawn to it.....in order to coordinate with Princess Laine.  Seriously cute.

Each kiddo was referred to as "Princess Tessie Mayes" or the like.  It was very much Disney at its finest.  No detail missed.

We opted for the package that included hair, nails and makeup.

Packages can run up to $250 here.  Totally serious.

We did not pay that much.

Sprinkled with magic fairy dust.

The big reveal.......and the cutest part of the entire event.

"Princess Lainey, are you ready to see the results?"

"Yes!"

Curtains open.  Photographer ready.  Magic stars float across the mirror to show her just how dazzling she's become.

We should have been done here, but got sucked back into the professional studio room to get pics made.

The set was simply too cute to pass up.

Get into character, Laine!  Don't be shy!

Nice.

It was all just so over-the-top cute.  Loved, loved, loved it.

Haunted Mansion was next.

Coco and Laine were a bit scared.

Jack met Phineas and Ferb, his new faves.

And, the girls danced to music waiting for the fireworks to start.

Coco loves the spotlight.  Even at the cost of her daughter.

Another try.  Better.

It's a Small World......so darling......Carter is over it.....texted with friends while on the ride.

Tea cups!

Note:  Casey does not ride this ride.  Ever.

So, I made Coco do it.

I don't think she entirely enjoyed it.

I wanted to buy Tessie Mayes her first Mickey ears and then get a pic of all the kids.  She looks thrilled about it, no?

The Halloween Party at Mickey is costly.  In addition to the season passes we already own, we paid good money to get into this 'special event'.  We won't do it again.  Yes, there were some great attractions and the fireworks was exceeded the normal show, but in my opinion, it was not at all worth the money.

I actually think Coco and Tessie Mayes would have gotten a lot more out of a regular Disneyland day.  But, this was what worked with our schedules.

Regardless, it was super fun.  Everything is super fun with the Bowen girls.

Midnight.  Time to go.  Kids were exhausted.

Next up, Day 3!

ps - I'm running a super inexpensive photo card special on MLS (Mom's Little Secrets).  Click here for the Facebook link.

Think about it........Christmas cards, Thanksgiving, Invitations, Birth Announcements, Save the Dates, Change of Address notifications and more!

Wow...........that was a whole lot of pink, and glitter, and makeup, and satin. Love.

I can't believe yáll fell for the whole "Let's go back here and take some professional pics." Let me guess...$250 later, yáll went home. =)

Forgot to add that we have a pic of all of our boys in that same tea cup when we were there summer before last. Good memories. =)

No! The picture package, surprisingly, was only $30. I kid you not. And, then we took all we wanted with our cameras. Totally worth it after we saw that damn carriage.

I love the BBB. Visiting the one at WDW has been the highlight of Caroline Creech's young life. We have not taken Princess Emily yet. We are doing a family trip with our cousins next year and Emily and her first cousin will be going together to the BBB... they are 6 weeks apart in age... how fun will that be? I wish they had had it when I was little!

First of all - the pics of the girls are precious. Cute, cute princesses. And Jack as a Knight? I love him. Adorable.

There are so many comments I would love to make, but I don't have the patience to go back thru each pic, so I'll recap with my favorites :)

Lainey looks like she's saying the Pledge of Allegiance in one picture. Hand over her heart. Hilarious.
Tessie Mayes looks like she's not quite sure about the whole princess thing and doing the poses. Which really, really surprises me knowing who her mother is. Perhaps she was just out of her element on this trip??
Coco's look at Jack on the tea cups will make for a wonderful "Caption This" blog post. Store that one away.
Tessie Mayes was very upset with her Mickey ears on. I'd like to know what was going on in that picture. Details, please.

Great recap! So glad you girls had fun!!

CUTE CUTE CUTE photos of the princesses. As always though. You know L is my favorite. I have a weakness for cute blonde girls. <--that sounds creepy.

Anyway, I love your card deal...except I don't have any cards to send out yet. =(

And I'm still stuck on Emma's bday party. Mike doesn't want it to be a big deal. But I'm the boss.....so we'll see...

I love Disney. Some of Lainey's facial expressions are priceless.

So much fun. I agree that regular Disney might of been more up Tm's ally. Especially since no Mickey or princesses were out. But the boutique was totally worth it.

And Sara, she was loving the princess stuff, but taking it super duper serious. She was so freaked out she was going to mess her nails up she barely moved.

Too flippin' cute. This is that makeover you told Hann and I about on our drive up to the wedding, right?? Love the results.

And how sweet are those pics of Sir Jack with his princesses?? I melt.
