Scoop

Stupid commercials make me laugh hysterically.  This is my latest favorite:

Frank repulses me.  But, his reaction to the nerd's threats about not being able to use Kayak one day make me laugh uncontrollably.

I'm currently at the Davidge household and surprisingly, 5 kids are asleep at 6:40 and no Benadryl was involved.

We're all a little sick.  It's almost hard to determine who has what and to what degree we're all feeling it.

We still made it to flag football for two of the boys Saturday morning.  Spent the weekend alternating between letting the punks rest and keeping them entertained.  Went to the pumpkin patch and had a stove-top popcorn slumber party with the Starnes kiddos.

We're all worn out.  But, tomorrow is a new day.

Lunches are packed.  Kids are bathed.  Uniforms are laid out. Homework is done. I'm ready for the shuffle.

Anyone watching the new sitcoms this year?

Up All Night

Suburgatory

The New Girl

Whitney

I'm totally loving Up All Night

Suburgatory has a good premise and I'm enjoying the Sugar Free Red Bull diet fascination, but I'm not sure it will last.

The New Girl is cute.  I love Zoey.

Whitney is super annoying.  I do not care for that one.  She makes me want to punch her in the face.

I'm still on the fence about Pan Am.  I want it to be good.  Really good.  That era fascinates me.  But, it's not totally keeping my attention.

Off to finish my first Jody Piccoult book.  I know, I know.  Everyone loves her.  But, I've avoided her books since My Sister's Keeper came out (the movie).  Seemed like an intentional crier.  She wrote the book the movie was based on and I didn't like the way it played out.  I'm enjoying this one, though....The Tenth Circle.

Pictures to come.  I think one of the critters kids might have eaten my cord thingy that links my camera to the computer.  Can't do much without that.

Later!

Does that mean that Blake wound up leaving for work? You're amazing - I can barely get my two kids into bed by 9!

As a mother, I don't know how you are able to read anything by Jodi Picoult. I've read several of her books but had to stop because the topics are so heavy. If I had children, I'd have a difficult time stomaching some of her books.

I don't watch much network tv these days...I watch some cable but stick mostly to my tv shows on dvd.

Hope you're all feeling well soon!

For someone who doesn't watch a lot of TV, my list is quite long this year.

I just finished my first Jodi Picoult and really loved it. I didnt cry but it definitely made me think....oh wait, I forgot, I did cry at one point, but I blame the new mom hormones for that one.

I have only seen Suburgatory and Whitney (I swear, I wrote Shitney twice.) I think they are both pretty funny. No comparison to Modern Family though.
