Fund Raising

A few weeks ago, I added an icon to the right of the page in order to raise money for my sister's disease, Scleroderma. We did a similar drive last year about this time and now Caroline has taken the reigns and is doing so herself. The Texas Bluebonnet Chapter is hosting its first "Stepping Out To Cure Scleroderma" on June 28. It's a walk at Grapevine Mills Mall.

Check out her site here. If you are not interested in donating...no problem...the site provides a wealth of information on Caroline's disease, her current state of health, plans for the future and more.

So far, she's raised over $2500 and has raised her goal to $3000. Carter is currently working around the house to earn some money and donate himself. Upon telling Carter about the fundraiser, and our simple language of "Remember how Caroline has a weak heart and trouble breathing sometimes?", he responded with a heartfelt, "Mom, give her all the money we have. All of it." Such genuine sweetness. And, he meant it. But, I think he secretly wants to see his name on the site, too.

Take and look and give what you can...if you can....and if not, just say a prayer for my sweet sister!
