Hope you all are having a wonderful day. We're unpacked and cleaning up from a ski trip yesterday and are ready to move on with our plans. The kids and Blake met me with breakfast in bed.....very sweet....and the most exciting part was Carter carrying Lainey upstairs....because he was beaming with pride for being allowed to do so.
Over the years, Mother's Day has broadened into not just a day for Moms, but for those who support them, those who love them. I'm blessed to have many "Moms" in my life including my sister, Caroline, who mothers my kids and me at times, too! Close relatives and friends round out that group of women offering advice and wisdom and new approaches to life's little challenges.....none of which I could do without. Terri, Mary, Britney, Jessica....and countless friends.....I am grateful for you.
