Saturday In Estes

After walking the town, eating lunch, and riding the tram, we drove through the Rocky Mountain National Park. Words cannot describe the beauty. It's an amazing place.

Look closely at Carter's foot. A chipmunk crawled up to see him. He really has a way with animals.

We drove through the park, stopped at a few sights and let the babies nap.

After Jack and Lainey woke, we drove into the YMCA of the Rockies to find our cabin and get started on dinner.

I had heard great things about this area and was thrilled to see it provided everything we needed and more. So, so much to do on site and then it's nicely located near the RMNPark and Estes. It's a place you should spend at least a few days to really enjoy the grounds, play horseshoes, roller skate, fish, hike, swim....the list goes on and on. Next time we go, we'll be there for a while to take advantage of such amenities.

The view from our patio.

Lainey checking things out.

As every little boy should do while camping, make new friends and build a fort in the woods!

Snacks for the kids. Love the looks they're giving each other.

Preparing dinner.

Goofing around after we ate.

Had a great evening.....Blake and I stayed up after the kids went to bed and enjoyed being outside, the weather, the lack of noise!
