Pleasant Surprise

My good friend, Shannon, sent me the sweetest gift a couple of days ago. She has an uncanny ability to understand when people are in need and I'm so happy to know her!

In the midst of my worst pneumonia day, an Edible Arrangement arrived at our door.

With a balloon, which was immediately taken over by the little ones. They loved it. Me, too!

We took it outside to enjoy in the afternoon sun.

Jack was scared of it. Carter gobbled it up. Lainey tried to hug it because it was so cute.

Yum!

Later on that evening, I was sitting with Lainey while she went through her diaper bag (hers, not mine). She proceeded to pull out her babies' bottles, diapers and food.....and then two of the pineapple flowers....that had been floating around in the bottom. Guess she was saving a snack for later!

LOL! That's too cute! I want to hug it, too. What a sweet friend. And I guess Lainey doesn't mind a sticky, dirty snack. (My kids don't either!) How funny!

What a sweet gift, literally. I've had the chocolate covered strawberries from there and they are awesome. (I never use the word awesome, but it's the only one that fits.) I don't know where they find stawberries that large, but all of mine were at least 3 inches tall.

Hope you are feeling better.

Shannon rocks! I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I hope you get better soon. Maybe all that Vitamin C will do that trick!!
