A Whole Lotta Easter

Allright. Take the rest of the day off if you want to see our Easter pics. There are plenty!

Saturday evening was super fun with Uncle Chris in town from Washington. The little ones loved being pushed around!

Ladies, he's available. Single, rich, brilliant, hard working, kind, and by far one of the funniest people I've ever met....need I say more?

Egg dying....

Lainey was in awe.

Notice the stickers all over Jack....compliments of Chris.

Here he is with Jack.

Somehow, each year our eggs turn out a little different than the picture. Hmm....

And, each year that pesky Easter Bunny breaks into the crisper and grabs some carrots on his way out.

The children are amazed at the trail he leaves.

Baby Laine in her bunny slippers.

Before mass on Sunday.

Back at home for a nap and rest before our visit to Westminster.

The fam.

Off to Linda's for our annual Easter visit. As always, she boiled 6 eggs for each child, cooked endless amounts of food, bought cups for the kids, had gifts and more. She does so much and we're grateful.

Georg and Chris finally met - a wish of my grandmother's from years ago - and exchanged plenty of hunting stories and photos.

The kids.....Linda's 5 grandchildren and our 3.

The big kids!

And, finally.....all of "our blood".....those not married in to the family.

Love the pictures! SO sad for you to leave the family in CO, they have truly been such a blessing. Now having said that, I CAN NOT wait till you guys move and we get to celebrate holiday's and events together again because you're only a drive away :)

Are you so ready for the move? It's coming up, right? End of the month?
So excited for you!

Hi Uncle Chris (drool drool)...man, am I boy crazy or what! I mean between Pa and Chris I break a sweat here at work while I am looking at your blog! Give a girl a warning please!

Such sweet pictures! how did Lainey do with dying eggs? I dyed them when Hagen was in bed and then let him stick stickers on them (did not work...eggs were too cold and condensation was on them).

You look great Casey! Really...you look so happy and in love!! I am just so excited for your family to all be together again...it's going to be like a honeymoon with the kids! you are goign to feel so much LESS stress!

Great pictures! so fun! I love the carrot idea too!
When my Grandma used to visit us for Easter in BR -- she wouldpull up grass and make a little nest with eggs in it next to the back door.
Then when we got up the next morning she would say the Easter bunny left it!

Thanks, Carrie! Lainey loved dying the eggs. She dropped them several inches above each bowl to see the splash and had a ton of fun. I appreciate your compliments!

YUM!!! Uncle Chris and the eggs! Love the carrots too....might have to try that one next year. but that would mean i would actually have to buy carrrots, do I have to then eat them? No right, they would be for the "bunny guy" (as Connor calls him).
