Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Memorial Day, bloggies. Everyone be sure to take a between their watermelon and hot remember why we celebrate.

It's not just a 3 day weekend!

I'm busy scouring the San Diego event sites looking for stuff to do.  Planning our menu.  Getting the house ready.  Adding to Blake's "to do" list.  Washing beach towels.

Saw Hangover 2 last night.  I really enjoyed it, although, most people are saying it's not as good as the first.  NOTHING IS, PEOPLE.  Can anyone name a sequel that was better than the first?  I mean, except for Breakin' 2:  Electric Boogaloo?  Let's keep perspective here.

We're making The Summer List this weekend.  Never done one before.  Are you familiar?  Seen lots of bloggies do it over the take a poster board and write all sorts of plans for the summer.  Kids contribute.  Can't wait to see what our knuckleheads come up with.

OK, I'm off to the market before 2 rounds of carpool.  Enjoy the sun, friends!  Happy Memorial Day.

I need to make a summer list! It will involve spending lots of time at the beach, that's for sure. And some good hikes. And wine, and reading. Oh, if only it could be summer ALL THE TIME! :)

Just so you know, I don't want to see your summer list and you know why.

Have a great weekend!

Okay, you've inspired me to be a more productive mom this summer.

I had heard that about that movie as well. However, I didn't really care too much for the first one so maybe I'll really like the second one. LOL!

Have a great weekend!

I'm going to try to talk hubs into going with me to the Rosecrans National Cemetery on Point Loma. They put a flag on EVERY grave. It's an amazing sight to see. It's been a few years since I have gone there on Memorial day.

Whatever you do, have fun!

a summer list sounds scary and slightly depressing! but I am working on a summer plan, what's the difference, well not really sure but I am hoping it will makes things easier

Memorial Day rocks. I don't have a 3 day weekend and I only had today off. BUT, I did see Hangover2 today and that shit is real. I spent one night in Bangkok in the Navy. A) I lived (good news) B. I can verify that those bars with numbers on the women exist...and that's just the beginning of my one night...Happy Memorial Day!

Ok, I'm cracking up about your hair because it is EXACTLY what mine looks like after I blow dry. No joke!!
I think we have the same hair. Thick and wavy and I never take the time to blow dry it straight in the back either :) But I HAVE to use a flat iron everyday. Fo sho!!

How do you always get such cute pics of the punks?
