National Western Stock Show

On Wednesday, the boys and I went into the city to attend the National Western Stock Show at the Denver Coliseum. It felt very much like the State Fair of Texas, of which we missed this year for the first time in a long time. It also reminded us of Fort Worth and our "western" roots there and of all that we missed about that area.

Several pictures from the event....

I know he's mine and that I'm biased, but Jack has the sweetest smile I've ever seen....and the kindest personality to back it up.

Livestock!

Carter playing at the children's playground.

We went into the art show and did a scavenger hunt.

Some of the funny animals we saw....

Why are all the ducks staring at the chickens?

Plump bunny.

Carter learning about all the different eggs on a farm.

Petting a calf.
