Because of Carter's huge interest in money these days and because he's unsatisfied with his weekly allowance, he set up a lemonade stand on Saturday. We had beautiful weather and so while Blake worked in the yard, Jack and I spent the morning outside with Carter. He was pretty good about his one-day business, taking only a few breaks here and there to visit with friends and ride his bike.
He made almost $16 and bought 2 Star Wars action figure sets and managed to actually save his remaining $3. On Friday, he'll add his allowance to that and buy yet another Star Wars action figure set because, really, what else is there in life? He's so proud of himself!
Our little businessman.
Starting out slow and getting frustrated....but he hung in there.
Jack ate many of the cookies, but luckily, it did not deter sales.
The boys in the wagon together.
And, Carter taking Jack for a ride.
A few of Jack hanging out....
Are those swim trunks or swim pants?
Oh, I love the last picture of Jack sitting in that chair with his bottom lip sucked in! Too cute!! I still am just amazed at how great of a big brother Carter is. My brother would have rather me not be around!
Thanks, Carrie! What a compliment. Carter is a great big brother. He loves having him around....right now anyway...that will surely change. He's one of the few kids that I've known that really wants more siblings. He's asked me before to have 10 kids!
I love this blog.....I look at it everyday on the road.....
Much Love to all, PA
