In a couple of weeks, the Starnes family will be "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" in a 3K walk in Denver. As most of you know, my sister Caroline lives with this rare auto-immune disease and handles it beautifully, despite its challenges. She continues to amaze me with her strength and endurance.
In signing up for the race and in researching other fundraising opportunities, we found a website that allows for donations to any charitable cause. So, we created www.firstgiving.com/carolineclemens in her honor. Money donated will go directly to the Scleroderma Foundation. Our first goal for the fundraising campaign was $500. We then raised it to $1000 after the initial interest shown. We are well beyond that and the donations are continuing to come in. Caroline is truly touched with realizing how much support she has out there and we're grateful to you all for participating. Please keep giving!
