Hope you all had a fabulous Valentine's Day!
We celebrated on Saturday with a day on the slopes. Snow, skis and candy. Who can argue with that?
Lots of pictures and five videos for Shannon.
Lainey Bug.....looking fierce.
Ski buddies.
It's easier just to carry her sometimes. They're too little to use the rope safely and it takes forever to pull them up.
First video.....Lainey skiing. You won't hurt my feelings if you don't watch these. They're cute and fun, but less than stellar entertainment.
Have you ever?! So cute. Love that man.
Success! She's so proud.
This video....I recommend you watch. Bossy Laine in all her glory, trying to get me to back up and give her some room to fly down the slopes. Notice, too, her attempt to turn at the end.....by turning her arm. Almost there, punkin.
Ski day snacks, Mardi Gras beads and trains. Life can't get much better, people.
Sassy Carter and Lainey.
Lainey made a friend.....Shep.....they were cute together with their "pets". Shep was on vacation with his family from Arkansas. Ski trip!
Both Jack and Lainey did really well and are ready for the next stage.....learning the pizza wedge and how to zig zag across while going downhill.
Jack surprised me on this run with going through the tunnel on his own. A big step for his 3rd day of skiing!
Lainey's biggest lesson from the day was learning how to eat snow through "gobbles" (Jack's term for goggles) and her helmet.
At the bar upstairs......had to go check out the views. Not quite the Rockies, but we're loving it!
A little blurry.......but I love this picture.
This one, too. Notice my earrings.....Carter bought them for me at the school store for Christmas. Silver hearts.....perfect for Valentine's Day.
It's tough carrying skis.
Wipe out.
Tunnel!!!!!! Look at that happy boy.
This is a longer video, but it's funny. Lainey was dancing in the lodge. Check out her moves at the end of each dance segment.
Had to show her baby some attention, too, since I wouldn't let her teach her to ski. We look crazy enough teaching a 2 and 3 year old.....no need to add a baby doll.
And, finally......I love this last video. Aside from Lainey's minor concussion, it makes me smile to see the fam running around having fun. They're good punks.

Woohoo, videopalooza! And I watched them ALL. I can't believe how good your kids are. I think "go fard away" was probably my favorite because Laine looks like a giggly, bossy little alien skiing. So cute.
Oh Casey, what GREAT photo's/videos! Awesome memories and I am so impressed with the littles skiing!!!
I love this post!!! Oh Lainey...I just can't wait to meet this little punk.
And Jack is getting to be a regular little skier. So proud of him!
omg she has a baby in a baby bjorn! i about died laughing.
and you're too cute, mamma!
I love this post! Lainey telling you where to go was the best ever! Such great memories made!
Loved the videos. Looks like you had a blast skiing.
So precious! all of it.. I only wish I could ski as good as Lainey!
Adorable.... on our ski trip a few weekends ago, we all concluded that little people skiing was pretty much the best thing ever. Jack and Lainey did amazingly well!! Wow!!
And your husband carrying the kids around... dad of the year. Makes my heart melt. You are quite the lucky lady... this you know, I'm sure ;)
Love it! So much fun!
What a fun Valentine's Day on the slopes!
Love them ALL! What great skiers already! Not to mention so darn cute in all the winter gear! Love kiddos all bundled up in the winter gear!
Ashlyn starts ski lessons this next weekend. She is excited after watching the videos of Lainey & Jack!
Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day too.
So much to love in this one! I watched all the vids, too. Is Snow Creek stuck in 1996? That music...Laine was breakin it down to No Scrubs. Barbie Girl was in there, too. Interesting.
Bossy LAINE! Fard away!! I might use that sometime.
I love the last vid, love seeing Blake in action, so sweet. And at the end of that one, Lainey yanks her arms away from Carter trying to help. That's a lot of sass in one little package. I'm likin it!
Missed reading up on the Starnes Fam! Sweet Vday posts, too. And the new look!
Okay I'm done now.
Oh, those are so cute. Missy Mack made me show them to her many times. She calls goggles wobbles. It looks like great fun.
That bossy video is a hoot! She is just precious! Looks like you had a fabulous Valentine's Day!
P.S. We are all about shaking "booty" at our house too!
I am impressed with all of the kids ski skills. They would all have me beat on slopes. I have never even tries it. I don't even know that I could but skis on.
Awe man my computer is acting weird ever since I let my kiddos play w/ it and now I can't watch videos! I bet they're cute b/c the pics are so cute!!!
fun stuff. we are going skiing for the few days after the wedding.. lame compared to the west.
Can't wait to get my future kiddos on skis. Think I might pay the money for ski school though. Brad and I have little patience when it comes to that..
hahaha!!
It looks like a perfect Valentine's ski trip! It really makes me want to get my kids out on the slpoes. I think they would have so much fun. Lainey and Jack are doing awesome! Gret picture of you and Jack!
Loving the birds on your header and signature!!
I wish my son could come play trains with your kids. Then me and you could hang out and talk for hours, cuz I have a feeling we'd be able to do that easily!!
Even though we live Ski Utah..."world's best snow"....I'm petrified of it! And so is Nate, so I don't think our kids will be trying it anytime soon! I'm impressed!!
Looks like you all had a GREAT day...Love all the pics and the videos, such fun!
Love the videos! So precious! L and J did such a great job skiing! Know you're so proud! Looks like so much fun!
Oh I love it all! So much fun! The videos are priceless. I love it when Lainey was saying, "whoa whoa whoa!" So cute!
Ok, you are the best Mommy. Carter is the best big brother. Blake is such a sweet Daddy. The Lainey and Jack are cute beyond words. Thanks for sharing!
You're going to inspire me to take that ski trip, yet!
