A Whole Lotta Nothin' Going On Up In Here

Really. I don't have much to report.

Job situation? Working on it.

Jack and Lainey in Preschool yet? Waiting on shot records and well check reports.

Batman? Loving life.

I did have an "A Ha!" moment recently. Is that was it's called? If the job situation doesn't work out soon enough, we can add escargot to our menu. Snails are everywhere in California. See? I'm always thinking.

They're big suckers, too!

I'm trying not to make this blog into a big "and then we went to the beach" story because that's pretty lame. But, it's really encompassing a lot of our days right now.

Baby's first steps on the beach......

Don't you love the horns?

Little ones have started puddle jumping....

They have a rough life.

In N Out Burger reported record sales last month. I'm assuming, anyway.

We took Daddy down to the aquarium yesterday.

I tried to get a decent picture with the kids and it looked something like this....

Yep.

Can you see Jack? He's manning the snake "puppet" from behind the coral.

Lovely, lovely La Jolla.

Blake's a super freak. We were up at the aquarium and he spotted my favorite old man from our vacation this summer. What are the odds?

Blake wasn't trying to look chic here. That's Lainey's ballerina sweater/scarf wrapped around his neck after she got sick of wearing it.

There she is throwing a mega-tantrum after we tried to help her with the penny machine. Serenity now.

Like I said, a whole lotta nothin'. Happy Thursday!

Hang in there! Keep the beach photos coming because the fall weather here in the midwest can't hold out for much longer. I will be longing for a warm beach somewhere soon enough.

Is Blake growing a mustache? for reals?
Brad would be right with LC and the penny machine.
Is it really that warm to get in the water there? Every time we went to the beach in Cali this year it was FREEZING!

Snails kind of gross me out. But you should spinkle salt on them and watch them dry up. That is what we used to do as kids. We liked to do some odd things.

Lord, no, I don't get in the water. It is cold!!!!! More on that later.....

Mustache? No. He's just scruffy because he's not working. Can't wait to tell him you suggested that, though!

I need the horns. Where did you get those? I need at least three pairs so everyone can let the others know when to beware. I love, love, love them with the bathing suit. Sooooooooooo awesome!!

Brit - I got them at a Halloween costume store. They're hard to find.....I looked forever for them!

No one could sport the horns and look as cute as Lainey! The snails are everywhere.....when their shells are empty, it means a rat has sucked them out--eewwwwww!

My blog was turning into "and we went to the beach" so I renamed it. Hence, the Kassie's Beach name. Just go with it. Your friends back east can be jealous of you all they want. lol
