A Preview Of Many Summer Days Ahead

Our pool and recreation center opened over Memorial Day weekend. We spent Sunday and Monday there, enjoying the gorgeous weather and a BBQ by the water.

Dad and Jack...

Carter, whom we see upon arriving to the pool and then when we get into the car to leave.

The boys chillin' out.

I do not quite understand why Jack is so terrified by the soft Colorado grass, but the grainy sand doesn't bother him a bit.

Actually wearing his hat for a few minutes.

It's a tough life...

Looks like fun! I'm jealous! All it's been doing in Texas is raining! Hoping to get to the pool at least once this week! Enjoy the beautiful weather!

68 degrees and raining for probably the 20th day in a row. How strange! Jealous of your beautiful community pool!

We actually got rain today, but we needed it. The weekend was beautiful. In the 80's and with a breeze. We found it interesting that they heat our pool because water in Colorado stays cold even in the hot summer sun.

Water parks have really cold water which lends to even more of a fascination on our part of Water World being one of the top 10 water parks in the nation. Denver hosting a water park of such magnitude? We can't wait to check it out!

No complaints about the rain from Mae Mae....rain is her favorite thing.....more time to work out and vaccuum !

Great pics...looking forward to visiting the community pool when I get up there in a few weeks.
