On with the scoop.
This week I learned that Jack enjoys a good tea party as much as Lainey.
We've been coloring a lot lately, too. Blake walked in the other night, saw Lainey covered in marker and asked if Coco had been supervising. Awesome.
Jen......look what still fits LC. She now wears them under dresses. The other day, Carter realized he could see her panties and told me, "Ugh, Mom, that's sick. Put some shorts on her."
Wouldn't you love to know what they're talking about?
Coco brought me this sap bucket that made its way to the kitchen and now acquires stuff from throughout the home that the family would rather I put up instead of them. Fabulous. If it were larger, every item we own would be put into it.
Here are the punks before school last week. Jack won't be able to wear his "3" shirt for much longer! Nice grumpy look, Laine.
And, here they are at school together after class. Sometimes I see them doing the simplest things and can't believe our kids are getting so big. Makes me happy and sad all at the same time.
Deanna Rose opened again on April 1. We were there shortly after. Possibly one of the cutest venues ever for kids. And, free Monday-Thursday!
We met Jillian and kids there, but I failed to get many pictures of all the children together. Here are Brynn and Lainey tending to Meow Meow.
Froggity, my love.......did you notice the dress Lainey is wearing? Cindy sent me a few that wouldn't fit her girls........I was so pleased! I thanked her immensely and now must thank you, too. Lainey will be the best dressed 2 year old in KC this year. I'm grateful, girls!
That's about it, my friends. What do yall have planned for the weekend? We're hoping for some more pretty weather, time outside and a bit of work for me.
Oh, one more thing. Anyone interested in a Book Club? I was thinking we could read a book every 1-2 months and then open up a discussion about it in a post. Let me know if you think you might want to join.

I'll be eating crawfish this weekend. Yum! I'm always in for books. Keep up posted on a book club.
Love the pics... Carter's comment about Lainey's underwear is so cute ;)
My weekend- hopefully a ton of studying. But I woke up this morning sick as a dog so I slept all day and am hoping to kick this soon because finals are just two weeks away. ahhh!!
I would be in for the book club once I'm done with school (May). Fun idea!!
The farm looks so cool! Can't believe its free.
I think we may sneak in another overnight camping trip and soccer games for each of the kiddoo. Oh an how could I forget DATE NIGHT! We are celebrating our 11th Anniversay a week early!
Love Lainey's panties / bloomers. Looks like a cool place.
Cute pics. I love this age. That farm looks neat.

What a fabulous farm! We will have to check it out the next time we are in town!
Love Lainey's bloomers!
We are headed to see the Wizard of Oz at our performing arts center tomorrow. We can't wait!
Have a great weekend!
Okay, I feel like living in DFW, I'm either totally missing out on fun little places like you find or am just totally clueless! Which is it? Please help! :)
Watch what you ask Melanie!... Casey will have you an itinerary of things to do and at all the local farmers markets before you can blink your eyes ;)
Casey- darling pics. kids are getting big! I love Spring!
I can't believe they still fit her! Little skinny butt!
Headed to the Main Street Arts Festival!!
Lainey in those sunglasses cracks me up! And telling you that she's gwumpy....love it.
Jack on that little tractor is adorable and I love that Carter is getting grossed out from seeing LC's little bloomers. Hilarious.
Your punks can always bring a smile to my face and entertain me. Along with your captions.
Definitely interested in book club!! Sounds fun.
Hush, Heather!!!!!! Or, I'll have your summer planned, too. :)
Mel, every place has fantastic options for kids. Email me if you want some ideas for Dallas. I have a few.
Glad the dresses fit. Bia actually wore that one to church the other week but it was a little short on her. Bloomers = adorable! Book Club sounds great!
redloWe are kid free this weekend, so I won't bore you with the sappy details of our plans. =)
Love the pic of Jack helping Lainey...=)

I've been a reading slump lately and am stuck midway through The Mermaid Chair...I need encouragement!
"I gompy, Mama. Yeave me ayone."
Made my day, Miss Laine.
Book Club: YES.

You always make me laugh with your photos. The book club sounds fun because I love to read.
Oooh, I'm soooo in on the bookclub! I've been a reading fool lately. Probably one of my reasons for falling down on the blogging... Oh well. At least my brain is still being used.
LOVE the pics. I could just eat them up. That pic of them having the little pow-wow on the floor is just too precious!!!!!
Oh my goodness, your kiddos are just the cutest!!! That farmstead place sounds like so much fun. Hope y'all have a great weekend!!!
going to the air show here on base. we saw them practicing on our way home from "school" and the kids flipped out.
i am all for a book club!! sign me up!
Love the pic of Jack and Lainey together on the floor. Precious!
Love LC's hair in the dog ears. Gracie won't let me do her hair that way anymore. :(
Book club sounds fun. Maybe I would actually start reading!! Other things than magazines!!
Enjoy your weekend!!
I want to do the book club...I have been terrible about reading! What book/books do you have in mind???
Mermaid Chair SUX. I got stuck in the middle and chucked it.
No idea, Kel. Just seeing who is interested.
And, I liked the Mermaid Chair! Did you read Secret Life of Bees? You know I love all the Catholic themes in those books, of course.
Secret life of Bees is Catholic themed??? Obviously, didn't notice...but I loved it. That's why I picked up The Boring Chair.
That farm place does look fun! I want to go. I am in for a book club. I love Lainey's bloomers. Missy Mack has a pair with a big M because seeing panties under dress is gross!
AHHHHH!!
I loves that dress on her! :) I am glad you all are able to get some wear out of them. She's so cute, she'd look great in a paper bag.
I held onto our name bloomies as long as possible, no shame in that game. And the Christmas ones as well... eek! Try squeezing a 2 year old into 9 month old bloomies...
What a cool farm! LL would love that....
such a cute farm. yeah, i am in for book club!
That farmstead looks super cool!!!!!
I truly love Jack's spikey hair! I think it goes with his personality.
