From The Bad Mommy Files
Tomorrow, Jack turns 4. Although, he technically never knew he was 3. We withheld this information for the sake of free entry into theme parks and museums. (Think Worlds of Fun, Disneyland, Legoland, The San Diego Zoo, etc, etc)
Yes, we celebrated his 3rd birthday. We just never made any big announcements that it was his third. If we had, he would have surely blown our guise and besides, when he and Lainey are in the double stroller, they look like twins, anyway.
2 YEAR OLD TWINS.
We never lied to him or anyone else. And, no one ever asked.
So, now looking back, we're figuring that the money we saved in admission will likely cover part of the therapy needed for this little debacle. See? It will all work itself out.
Here's to one more day of punkin Jack as a 3 year old!

I've never once lied about my kids ages and now that my kid is 15 and I have to convince people that she's not yet 16 and should be the 15 year old price, I'm hoping karma will help me out.
Anytime ANY of our troop can pass as younger to escape an outrageous admission fee, I am ALL over it. I just look at it as they're learning early to take one for the team. It's part of life in a big familia! Happy early bday, Jack!
lol! we were tempted to go to disney last week and tell them ours was 2... but she just won't pass these days. she is so tall! i figure you should enjoy the 'freeness' while you can...
happy birthday jack!
I SO wish Jack and Cam could hang out. They could be all sassy together! Maybe if I move to the midwest, we could take a little road trip!
A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
Love that! And I LOVE that picture too! Sweet boy...
I have no problem telling anyone a 3 year old is 2. When my twin and I were little people would argue with my mom that she was 1 -2 years older than me. It made my mom cry. She knows how old her twins are. We looked nothing alike when we were kids. We joined a new church because the one we went to would not put us both in the 3 year old class. They told my mom that my sister had to be at least 5. Either she was tall or I was not so bright.
Hahahahaha... I love it. And yes, when you post pics of him and Lainey, they look a lot alike. And really, who got hurt in this charade?? I'd say no one... so game well played Mrs. Starnes!!
Happy almost birthday Jack!!
i'll do just about anything to save a buck--well, not really but, you know what i'm saying.
happy (almost) birthday, jack!
Happy Birthday jack! I'm with you on the age thing.
Did that with my nephew!
Girl you are too funny! I think every parent has done this. My oldest who is 13 could easily pass for a 9 year old, so we always save money w/ him!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!That is awesome!!!!! Our little man wouldn't have passed. We had people asking if he was 3 before he was and so it wasn't worth it.
I'm shocked!
SHOCKED!
That's awesome! I just envisioned the "Nooooo!" video and laughed a little. Happy Birthday to the sweet boy!
Hey- whatever works. Can't believe he's turning 4!! Sweet Jack.
Sweet little Jack! We tried to do that with Haylee once. She totally blew our cover. Oh well. Glad you guys could pull it off with Jack. It can be embarrassing!
Happy Birthday, Jack! I can't believe he is already 4. Smart move, those theme parks are EXPENSIVE!!!
My 14 yr old niece has to play 12 all the time. Sometimes we make her go all the way down to 10. She can pull it off too...unless she's wearing a form fitting shirt. She's developing quickly.
Happy birthday little man!
mark will never let me lie about the boys age, and i want to!! happy birthday to jack! i remember being prego at the same time with our boys!
That is really funny! I love that picture of Jack :) Happy almost birthday Jack!
What a hoot! Happy birthday to your little man!
Nice work!
LOL...I kid you not, the day after he turned 3, Disneyland started questioning us about Caden's age. He's small too, and was in the stroller. We were soo guilted that we bought him a season pass the next time we went.
