Squeaker Shoes

These are squeaker shoes. You either love them or hate them. We think they're great!

Blake's name is always "Baby GPS" because when we're out and Jack is running in one direction and Lainey in the other....we can keep track of each, especially if there is only one adult present.

I bought Lainey a pair last year before her first birthday and they still fit, but barely. Knew it was time to look for more, as we're taking advantage of her toddler days and letting her squeak away. Found a vendor direct from China who sold them for $7-$8 a piece and then shipping overseas was about the same, making each price around $15. Last year, I paid $30 at Josephine's in Denver. If you're interested in the shop overseas, I'll be glad to send it to you. They're the same shoe as far as I can tell.

So, what's the verdict.....love or hate for you?

We love them! Gage has a pair that was a hand-me-down from a friend. Ainsley needs some pink ones, though! Will you send me the link? Can't wait!

Love them on your kid, I'd probably hate them on mine.

Um, is there a word stronger than hate? We were at dinner the other night and there was a family with twins sitting next to us. Of course, after dinner, they let them run all over the restaurant and annoy people. One had on squeaker shoes and the other had on tap shoes.

OK, anything that little Lainey puts on is cute...BUT...my first experience with Squeeky shoes was when Hagen was new. I took him out shopping and was looking at little boy clotes. There was this family in there with their cute little girl and she had them on.

At first it was cute, but it got old REALLY fast! I swear they just brought her in there to walk/squeek by me just to piss me off! My post partum attitude shot a few ugly glares there way. If I had a gun I would have shot my eyeball out...

Love that you guys are willing to say you hate them!

I can definitely see the annoyance. We typically only put them on her to go to the zoo or to a place outdoors where the kids are running.

One of my biggest fears is allowing my kids to be a nuisance, so if I can prevent it, I will. They do plenty of annoying things on their own. :)
