Question Of The Week

Besides, of course, one of the all time greats, Christmas Vacation, I do believe Love Actually is my favorite Christmas movie. I love everything about it, but what impacts me everytime is Hugh Grant's monologue at the beginning:

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

And, this couple.....one of several in the movie who come together.....these two are by far, my favorite. Such romance.

If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It's a bit quirky at times, but the message is so sweet. It's all about love......and Christmas is just that.......a time for love!

Question: What's your favorite Christmas movie?

Love this movie. Love it!! Hugh Grant is pretty darn cute in it. And I have a crush on Colin Firth.

But as for favorite Christmas movies, I have to be lame and say, "A Christmas Story." I can watch that movie over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Hands down Christmas Vacation...with a second choice of "A Christmas Story"..."RALPHIE, I Can't get up!" That was SOOO Hagen this morning bundled up for school!

I'm with everyone else - "A Christmas Story" is classic! Love it. In fact, I had Hudson in a little hat yesterday and a man walked up to me and said he looked like Ralphie. HA!!

And I also love "Elf"!! Hilarious.

Love Actually is my favorite. And that whole montage (sp?) at the beginning and end at the arrivals section of the airport always makes me cry. I just love it.

My other favorite is 'Go'--it kind of revolves around a drug deal gone bad and some strippers though, so we won't get into that one...

I haven't seen this movie, but maybe I can talk my husband into watching it. At our house we love "A Christmas Story" and "Christmas With The Kranks" along with "Christmas Vacation".

I heart Colin Firth. I would run across buring hot coals topped with killer Cobras to get to him. I watch all movies with him in it....I am obsessed. Yummy. I am totally off subject, but anytime a movie is mentioned that features my honey bunny, I must comment. I love this movie, and Christmas Vacation.....

I do love this movie. A lot, however, sticking with my hate the holidays deal, I love Four Christmas'.

I LOVE this movie and own it. In fact, tonight is my solo night and I'm gonna pop it in the player. Thanks for inspiring me.

I suck at saying my favs on demand. I just don't know.
