If so, skip on by us and visit the next blog on your list. We're all Christmas, all the time right now.
Party pic with Santa. Holla!
A hug, too.
Our calendars are looking pretty good. And, surprisingly, I've only had to tape them up once after being ripped down. Progress.
Jack and Lainey have started a new game in stacking the presents.
We've been baking, too. Lots and lots of baking.
Just received our gifts from Pa and Mae Mae in the mail and this silly Santa headband was peaking out of a stocking. We love a good prop.
Bossy Laine. She must get that from her father.
This, too.
Another party pic. Looks like Jack is, too. Can't you see these two at college together 17 years from now acting just like this?
Off to Carter's school for his class party.
Today's train connection - magnetics lined up look like a choo choo.
Here's Lainey giving a dirty look to Carter's friend, Pierce, when he told her kindly not to put the magnets in her mouth. Very nice, Laine.
Sweetness.
Kansas City-ites will like this.......their Plaza Lights project. Each building is outlined in tiny hole punched construction paper, mimicking the Christmas lights. Really cool.
Love how the little punks are not scared to jump right in with the 3rd graders. Jack wanted a turn at Pictionary......but they declined. Good move. They could have thrown out "train" as he was walking to the board and got it right immediately.
More water fountain fascination.
And, you can go ahead and file this under "Worst Mom Ever". Well, watch the video first. Hilarious.
We're into the city today to visit with Santa and his elves when they arrive on the Kansas City Southern railway at Union Station. Here is what we'll see:
So, if you hear some 3 year old squeals coming from our direction, chalk it up to Jack.

Thanks, everyone. Shannon, you're totally right. I saw her do it the first time and so I started filming after. Smart girl!
OMG. These pics are precious. And that video! Ha, Shannon. I thought the same thing! Smart Lainey girl.
Also, please don't say 'holla'. That is my other Christmas wish.
Your header is killing me. SO hilarious!
The video is too cute...poor little thing...she just wanted some water.
Casey... I just want to hang out at your place for a weekend or two! Sounds like there is always something fun and exciting going on!!
And perhaps Little Miss Lainey could take me shopping- that girl has some serious style going on! Love her red and white tights, her little courdoroy skirt and her ruby red sparkly slippers!
Lainey is bossy? No way! She is the angel baby of the world, next to Tessie "Nayes."
Love that Santa, for real..want one.
Why oh why can't we live closer together? Not fair. Is it weird how much I miss you?????
No, love. Not weird. Miss you, too! (that was for you, Blake)
