Fall Favorites 2009

So, it's our first Fall here in the Midwest and I've got to say that I'm enjoying it. Such pretty color filling the trees and the turning leaves are so beautiful.

I took a few photos in our neighborhood while out with the kids. Will try to update again after they peak....late October, I believe.

Reds and oranges and yellows and more. Love the pavement scattered with them, too.

Living in an area with four seasons is so lovely.

Just getting started.....can't wait to see them in a few weeks!

Busy weekend ahead for this household:

Jambalaya dinner this evening.
Followed by the continuation of changing out warm weather gear for cold. (70% done)
Blake is working on a Christmas in October charity project.....building a house, from what I understand.
Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun.
Soccer.
Visit with Shannon and her son, Blake. A trip to Deanna Rose with them, hopefully.
Cooking for a friend in my Building Better Moms class who just had a baby.

Tired? Me, too. Think I'll turn in early tonight to prepare. Have a great weekend!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Sweet of you to cook a meal for your friend. I so appreciated meals after having the girls.

Oh, and thanks for the sweet comments on my blog. I'm honored that you think that about me! Love you!

Love the colors right now. Can't wait for the next couple of weeks! I'll have to spend some extra time outside.

Does sound like a busy weekend. I'm tired too. Everyday it seems. I think it's just the heat and being tired of it. Still 90 around here so I am still waiting for FALL.

I really miss having 4 seasons. Palm trees don't change colors.
