Maybe It Is Time To Say Goodbye To The Chaos

That only babyhood can bring.

Our youngest will turn 2 in a matter of weeks. One crib left in the house and that will go soon, too. One left to potty train and she's close to done already.

Hmmm......

No more diapers?
No more messy meals?
No more baby bag?

It does sound nice sometimes.

I'm here to tell you that....it's very nice! My kids are at perfect ages...all self sufficient and no teenagers (yet). easy breezy

Then it''s time for another baby!!! But don't worry...will the chaos ever really go away? BTW....love the little town. It would be a hard pick for me too. Just remember where ever you live, you are just a short drive from the other location.

I would love to get rid of the diaper bag! Mine just keeps getting heavier. I carry at least 4 Thomas the Trains with me at all times.

Do you put your kids in big kid beds at age two? I'm so nervous about moving Cason out of his crib. I'm afraid he is going to roam around the house. Does Lainey try to climb out of the crib?

Both of our boys moved at age 2. Lainey has gotten out a couple of times, but it's nothing consistent. She's just as content calling us from her crib.

We're aiming for her being in her big girl bed by Christmas. We already have it....I just have to find bedding.

It is really nice being able to hop in the car at a moment's notice without having to take half the house with you!

You know one more would be just like the rest of your adorable brood-sweet, silly, photogenic. Why not?! 3, 4, who's counting anyways? That pesky Blake?

My baby just turned 3. I am sooooo glad to be done with the baby stage! It is sooo overrated!

I love having older kids. We are done with car seats, daycare, etc. Now we have more time as a couple. Raising babies forever isn't a requirement.
