Summer Dining

During the summer, we eat outside often because the temperatures drop around 7pm each evening and even without a pergola or patio cover, we're shaded and comfortable.

Lots of cook outs, time in the yard and fun for the kids.

Blake and Jack (our little chef) preparing the meal inside first.

Notice they're making the same concentrating face here.

Corn on the cob is a staple and we typically get it from our favorite Farmer's Market, Palizzi's. It's delicious and inexpensive and Blake grills it to perfection. Lainey's chomping on the frozen variety because Palizzi's doesn't have it in yet.

"Where's Jack?!"

We have Kentucky Bluegrass here in Colorado and it's like carpet for a few months each year. Never had anything like it in Texas....just another perk of this climate.
