Our first interest in this restaurant came by the way of a tantalizing report. This site describes the pizza parlor as no less than haunted. So, we checked it out and in addition to enjoying the history lesson and haunting stories attached to the site, the pizza was fabulous.
The main restaurant.......actually serves fried chicken and similar foods.
A few old buildings inhabit the multi-acre lot of land and they each have their own menu.
Love this picture of happy Carter and Caroline. Such a great pair.
Nothing fancy......picnic tables outside rest under gorgeous trees.....we enjoyed the weather and a good meal.
Delish. 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 Italian sausage (crumbled and slightly spicy).
As we began walking the grounds, we noticed a coffee house on the far end of the pizza parlor. Fried chicken, pizza and now coffee. What's next? A sushi bar?
Part of the stories we heard included an occurrence in this creek behind the land. So, of course, we checked it out!
Punkin Jack will love seeing this when we all come to dinner. Oh, and this little guy is actually a bbq smoker for yet, another, business on site.
Lots of room to walk and even a stage out back below the shade trees. We'll be back!

LOVE it! looks like fun! I also love the pictures of Carter and Caroline.
It reminds me of me and my nephew -- who again, will trung 19 tomorrow! craziness...
You always find the neatest little places.
How fun. What a weird place. And that pizza looks heavenly.
My mouth is now watering for that pizza! It looks DELISH!
Is everywhere that pretty there?!!
Allison - funny you should say that. It's not exactly what people picture when they think of Kansas! Me, included. I always had dust bowls, open land, no green grass in mind. Quite the opposite!
KC has a ton of trees and the area we live in is really beautiful. I'm thrilled to say we have found one of the nicest suburban areas to live in that I have ever seen. So much to do.....fantastic schools.....lovely rolling hills and gorgeous trees! We're in heaven.
