Love that show too! I was in my twenties and married when it was on...I feel really old!
I was totally in love with Scott Baio growing up, so maybe Charles in Charge.I liked the family in Growing Pains too.le
I would have to say Family Ties too! I think that was the first show I watched religiously. I loved it!! I did watch Growing Pains, but I wasn't one to watch every episode. Great question; it now has me thinking about all the "family" shows I watched growing up.
I have recently fallen in love with Modern Family. So, I would want to move in with the gay couple...they crack me up!!!!!!
Hmmm, I loved Family ties too, Growing Pains, Charles In Charge and Who's The Boss but I really wanted to be a part of the Little House on The Prairie family. I guess you could say I am Laura Inngalls at heart!
Uh duh, Beverly Hills 90210. I wanted to live Kelly Taylor's life, with a single mom, unlimited money and no supervision. Oh, and a convertible BMW.
I wish they would do reruns for Family Ties.I never thought about what family to be in.
Well, I might stick out like a sore thumb, but I'd be all over The Cosby Show. Loved them.
Ooh so many of my favorite shows! Loved the Cosby Show, Family Ties, Charles in Charge, Growing Pains, Silver Spoons (with the Ricker!), Who's the Boss (Mr. ESPN loves Alyssa Milano) but I think I would have to go with The Facts of Life. I always thought it would be so cool to go away to boarding school.
Back in the day, it would have been the Cosby show. Today, it would be Modern Family.... that is seriuosly one of the funniest shows on tv-EVER. Love that there is a little disfunction in each household....just like real life.
The Andy Griffith Show! I love Mayberry.
I love watching old re-runs of The Cosby Show, so it'd have to be that family.
Sara's comment about sticking out like a sore thumb cracked me up. I don't know, maybe the Eight is Enough family. Loved that show.
Definitely the Seavers, but we'd have to live next door to the Huxtables. I wouldn't have "looked right" as a Huxtable, but I'd totally be friends with them!
I remember fantasizing about living with the gang on Facts of Life. I wanted to be Blair (the rich snobby one) and my sister wanted to be Jo (during the motorcycle years).
huxtables!!! pure and simple.
I adored Family Ties... let's see. Who would I pick? My first thought is the Walkers, from Brothers and Sisters... they always have wine around and great meals. From a movie- The Cullens. Duh.
Ok, I have thought about this for days and while I loved all the shows mentioned, including the Cosby Show, and would stand for being Mallory, I never wanted to be a part if any of those families. I love my only child life and couldn't imagine having siblings.
I LOVE the family on Home Improvement. Granted, we wouldn't blow ourselves up all the time, but I think Tim & Jill's relationship is HILARIOUS.
