A good friend of mine from LSU just started a blog and it's certainly unlike our lives here in suburbia. Check it out.....Tropical Nuthouse.
To suggest Jeannette is a "free spirit" wouldn't quite do her personality justice. She is full of life and so much fun and if I could have written out her future on paper, I would have chosen exactly what she is doing right now. The picture above is just a taste of her day-to-day adventures, all centered around her love for the water.
My fondest memory of our time together at LSU is cruising around in her old-school lime green convertable Volkswagen beetle....no where really to go....but enjoying the ride and always hysterical with laughter.
Take a look and get to know her and her darling husband, Brian. They make me want to take the next offer we get, pack up the kids, buy a boat and head out to sea.

Seriously, hubby and my dream is to have a boat... and an island... with just some fishing poles and surfboards. Walden Pond meets the sea... that's my philosophy. Simplicity.
