I would make reservations for a long weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine for the family.
If I were to spend the money on myself, I would spend 1/3 on scrapbooking materials, 1/3 on ordering more pics from Kodak Gallery, and 1/3 on organizers for all my craft/sewing/scrapbook stuff in. =)
Hum... I would shop for the kids, as I always do (never for myself which I actually am the one who needs it!). Or I might just pay bills. I could always shop for the house though too? OH, I know, I would put the money in savings for our summer vacation to the beach!
I would definitely put it towards travel, as we do just about all of our extra money. Somewhere historical in the United States.....or geographically significant.....Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon.
i would love to say i would take a trip but chances are i would buy something for the house. that seems to be where all my extra cash goes...which is ok, that is the one thing i love shopping for because it doesn't matter how big your a$$ is!!!

Oops...my last sentence didn't make sense...I meant I would buy organizers to put all my stuff in!
I would take a mini vacation or possibly buy myself something from Louis Vuitton. :)
Giving the current economic enviroment I would probably put it towards bills.

I would buy a pair of designer jeans, Gucci purse, go to Spain. but I think that costs more than $1000 dollars

A luxurious weekend away for me and the husband. And if anything was leftover a few sessions with a trainer for after this baby is born.
